Fishing in Charleston
Report Date: August 9, 2008
We got to take the owner of Keelshield and his son out this morning for what we hoped to be a good early morning topwater bite. The water was falling and the wind was light. Perfect conditions........ Well we only managed 7 reds and 1 trout. This wasnt a bad day but not great either. The biggest red went 27" and 7 pounds.
I am going to put a pic of a new bait out. This is the best topwater bait I have ever used. Its a Bite-A-Bait topwalker. You must have these if you fish for trout, reds and freshwater bass.
